DNAFMC
For their work "DNAFMC" the artist´s duo travelled to Japan, six months after the triple catastrophe of an earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear meltdown hit the country in 2011. Central to this work is an exploration of Japanese identity concepts, in the wake of the Fukushima events, against the cultural backdrop of films like "Godzilla," historical occurrences such as Hiroshima or Kobe, and traditional Japanese myths.
